Do Tour Directors provide personal assistance?
Our Tour Directors coordinate your experience and keep you informed. They can arrange help from the driver, hotel bell staff (porterage), venue staff, or a pre-booked aide. They do not provide hands-on personal care or lifting/transfer assistance and are not permitted or insured to do so. Guests who need continuous personal assistance should travel with a capable companion. Porterage at hotels is included where stated.
What are your pick-up locations for tours?
All pick-up locations and times are listed on each specific tour page under the section titled "Pick-up Points." Please note that these may vary depending on the tour.
Do you provide parking for your tours?
No, we do not provide parking. However, nearby parking options are often included in the "Pick-up Points" section of the tour page to assist with planning.
Can the itinerary change during the tour?
Yes. While we strive to follow the planned itinerary, adjustments may be made due to weather, traffic, or local events. Our tour director may modify the schedule to ensure the best possible experience for all guests.
Can I request specific seats for shows or performances?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate specific seat requests for shows. Seating is arranged by the venue, but we always try to keep groups together when possible.
What if I book my own tickets for an event during the tour and can’t attend?
CosmoVista Tours cannot be held responsible for missed events or activities that were booked independently of the tour.
Will there be free time to explore?
Definitely! While we include guided tours in each city, you’ll also enjoy free time to explore.
Do you offer cancellation or medical insurance?
CosmoVista Tours does not offer travel insurance. However, we recommend that travelers consider purchasing trip cancellation and out-of-province medical insurance through third-party providers.
Having proper medical coverage is especially important when traveling to the United States, where healthcare costs can be high. While we hope your trip is smooth and worry-free, insurance provides valuable peace of mind in case of unforeseen events or emergencies.
What's your cancellation policy?
Deposit (Non-Refundable)
A deposit of
10% or 15% per person (as specified for each tour) is due at booking and is
non-refundable. If you cancel
45+ days before departure
and before paying in full, your deposit may be applied
one time as a credit toward another CosmoVista tour departing within
12 months,
less a C$50 per-person administrative fee. Credits have
no cash value and
expire if unused.
Final Payment & Refundability
- Final balance is due 45 days before departure (or as specified for your tour).
- Once a booking is paid in full—at any time—it is 100% non-refundable and non-creditable.
- Inside 45 days, any amounts paid (including the deposit) are non-refundable.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment and provide peace of mind.

Can I request a specific seat on the bus?
Yes, you may request a preferred seat and we’ll do our best to accommodate it. However, seat assignments are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.
Can I sit with my friends on the bus?
Absolutely! We’ll make every effort to seat you with your friends. Please let us know your request when booking.
Can I request a specific bed type in my hotel room?
Yes, we’ll forward your request to the hotel (e.g., one bed vs. two beds), but all requests are subject to hotel availability at check-in.
Can I stay in a room near my friends?
Yes. We’ll gladly pass along your request to the hotel. While most hotels do their best to accommodate these requests, final room assignments depend on availability.
Can I request a pick-up location?
We offer several convenient pick-up locations, which are listed on each tour page under "Meeting Points." While we can’t guarantee custom pick-ups, you’re welcome to make a request—we’ll review it and let you know if it’s possible based on the route and timing.
Are your tour suitable for seniors?
Yes! Our tours thoughtfully designed with seniors in mind. With a relaxed pace, premium accommodations, and smooth coach travel, it's ideal for those seeking comfort and cultural enrichment. Many of our guests are solo senior travelers.
How much walking is involved?
Expect light to moderate walking during city tours and attractions. The itinerary includes regular breaks and a comfortable pace.
How many bags can I bring?
Each guest may bring one suitcase (stored under the coach) and one small carry-on that fits in the overhead bin.
Is there a restroom on the bus?
Yes. All of our luxury motorcoaches are equipped with onboard washrooms for your convenience during travel days.
Can I join this tour solo?
Absolutely! Many of our guests travel
solo
and love the friendly, social atmosphere of our group tours. It’s a great way to meet people and share amazing memories.
