We really enjoyed staying at the Château Frontenac. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a king bed, desk, sofa, coffee table, and two closets. The view was not the greatest as we overlooked a rooftop and a wall, but a water-view room would have been very nice.
Breakfast each morning was excellent, along with beautiful views from the terrace.
The tour of the hotel was very informative and included interesting history. The guide was humorous and enjoyable to listen to.
The city tour was also informative, and the guide did an excellent job.
We really liked the delicious lunch at Le Bistro de l’Érable and the Sugar Shack. Learning about the work involved in tapping the trees, retrieving the maple water, and seeing the process of making maple syrup was very interesting.
The Lupo Wolf Sanctuary was interesting, though a bit disappointing for photography because the chain-link fence was in the way.
It was also nice to have a free afternoon to explore the city on our own.
The scheduled bus stops on the drive to Quebec were well planned and gave everyone a chance to stretch their legs.
We also appreciated the bus guide who shared information about the areas we were driving through during the trip.
