Your adventure begins as you board our comfortable transportation at your selected pick-up location (times may vary slightly). Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride as we make our way toward Sarnia and the Canada–U.S. border. Please have your travel documents ready for inspection. A coffee and washroom break will be scheduled en route to stretch your legs and grab some refreshments.

11:30 AM:  Duty-Free Shopping & Lunch

Arrive at the Duty-Free shop where you'll have time to browse gifts, souvenirs, and exclusive deals. Enjoy a leisurely lunch break before we proceed through the border.

3:00 PM:  Welcome to Frankenmuth!

Check in to the iconic Bavarian Inn Lodge for your two-night stay. Set on 13 acres of scenic riverfront in the heart of “Michigan’s Little Bavaria,” the lodge blends old-world charm with modern comfort. Take time to relax, explore the beautiful grounds, or pop into nearby local shops before dinner.

6:30 PM: Bavarian-Inspired Dinner with Live Entertainment

Enjoy a hearty, traditional Bavarian meal at the Bavarian Inn Lodge, complete with lively entertainment that brings the spirit of Germany to life.

Dinner Menu Includes:

•  Jager Schnitzel (center-cut pork loin with Bavarian mushroom sauce)

Embark on a guided tour through the heart of Frankenmuth. Discover the town’s Bavarian-style architecture, unique heritage, and rich local traditions on this charming introduction to the community.

 Wine & Chocolate Experience

As part of your afternoon, enjoy one of the following indulgent experiences (timing coordinated by the Bavarian Inn Restaurant):

• A wine tasting featuring 3 premium German wines paired with cheese and crackers

• Two artisan chocolate truffles, beautifully boxed and set at your dinner place setting

11:00 AM – Leisure Time on Main Street

After your tour, enjoy free time exploring Main Street. This festive stretch is home to boutique shops, holiday-themed decor, locally crafted gifts, and sweet treats from traditional German bakeries.

1:00 PM – Visit to Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland

Immerse yourself in the magic of the season at Bronner’s, the world’s largest Christmas store. Spanning over 1.5 football fields, Bronner’s features 50,000+ holiday items—from personalized ornaments to dazzling décor. A must-visit stop for holiday lovers!

6:00 PM – Family-Style Chicken Dinner at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant

Wrap up your festive day with Frankenmuth’s legendary World-Famous Chicken Dinner, served family-style in the warm ambiance of the Bavarian Inn Restaurant.

After breakfast, complete your check-out from the Bavarian Inn Lodge. Our staff will ensure an efficient process, allowing you to bid farewell to the cozy comforts and old-world charm of your stay. Take a final stroll around the scenic riverfront property, capturing last memories of this delightful Bavarian escape.

10:30 AM – Shopping Excursion at Birch Run Outlet Mall

Next, we head to Birch Run Outlet Mall, one of the largest outlet shopping destinations in the Midwest. Enjoy a few hours to explore a vast array of brand-name stores, featuring everything from fashion and footwear to home décor and specialty goods. It's the perfect opportunity to pick up last-minute souvenirs or enjoy a little retail therapy. You’ll also have time to grab a bite for lunch at one of the many eateries within the mall, offering a variety of dining options to suit every taste.

1:00 PM – Departure Towards Home

With your bags full of treasures and your heart full of memories, we depart Birch Run and begin our journey back to Canada. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic ride as we make our way toward the Canada/U.S. Border at Sarnia. Our team will handle the border crossing process smoothly, ensuring you have a stress-free experience.

3:30 PM – 5:30 PM – Safe and Convenient Drop-Offs

We anticipate arriving back at your selected pick-up locations between 3:30 PM and 5:30 PM, depending on traffic and border crossing times. Our goal is to make your return journey as comfortable and convenient as possible, wrapping up your wonderful tour of Frankenmuth with ease and satisfaction.
