Itinerary
Day 1 • Arrive in Halifax
Arrive at Halifax Stanfield International Airport, where you’ll meet your Tour Director and transfer to your downtown Halifax hotel.
Depending on the group’s arrival schedule, enjoy an introductory tour of Halifax before checking in and settling into your hotel.
This evening, meet your fellow travellers and begin your Atlantic Canada journey with a Welcome Drink & Meet and Greet.

Day 2 • Peggy's Cove & Nova Scotia's South Shore
Begin the day with breakfast at Peggy’s Cove, followed by time to experience one of Canada’s most iconic coastal landmarks.
Continue along Nova Scotia’s picturesque South Shore to Mahone Bay, with a photo stop at its famous Three Churches, before travelling to Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Explore Lunenburg on a guided walking tour and visit the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic, discovering the seafaring traditions that shaped this colourful coastal town.
Return to Halifax in the late afternoon. If the Halifax city tour was not possible on arrival day, it may be offered today. Evening at leisure.

Day 3 • Halifax to Prince Edward Island
After breakfast, visit the Millbrook Cultural & Heritage Centre for a guided experience exploring the history, culture and traditions of the Mi’kmaq people.
Then travel toward Prince Edward Island, crossing the spectacular Confederation Bridge before arriving in Charlottetown.
Enjoy the afternoon at leisure to begin discovering PEI’s charming capital before checking into your hotel.
Depending on the finalized 2027 performance schedule, the evening may include a performance at the Confederation Centre of the Arts.

Day 4 • The Best of Prince Edward Island
After breakfast, set out to discover the landscapes and stories that make Prince Edward Island so unforgettable.
Explore Prince Edward Island National Park and beautiful Cavendish Beach, known for its red sandstone cliffs, sweeping coastline and distinctive island scenery.
Visit Green Gables Heritage Place, the setting that inspired Lucy Maud Montgomery’s beloved Anne of Green Gables.
Depending on the day’s schedule, enjoy a guided walking tour of Charlottetown or additional leisure time in the city.
This evening, experience a true Maritime tradition with an included lobster supper before returning to Charlottetown.

Day 5 • Prince Edward Island to Cape Breton
After breakfast, say goodbye to Prince Edward Island and enjoy a scenic Northumberland Ferry crossing to Nova Scotia.
Continue across the Canso Causeway to Cape Breton Island, where the landscape begins to change dramatically as you make your way toward Baddeck.
Take to the water for a boat tour on beautiful Bras d’Or Lake, surrounded by the rolling hills and peaceful scenery of Cape Breton.
Later, check into your Baddeck hotel and enjoy an included dinner.

Day 6 • The Legendary Cabot Trail
After breakfast, set out for one of Canada’s great scenic drives — the Cabot Trail, winding through the spectacular landscapes of Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
Travel along dramatic coastal roads with sweeping views of mountains, forest and the Gulf of St. Lawrence, with stops along the way to experience the beauty of Cape Breton. Enjoy an included lunch before continuing your Cabot Trail journey.
Return to Baddeck and visit the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site, where you’ll discover the remarkable life, inventions and experiments of one of history’s great innovators.
End this memorable day with an included dinner.

Day 7 • Fortress of Louisbourg & Return to Halifax
After breakfast, travel to the remarkable Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site, one of Canada’s most impressive historic destinations.
Step back into the 18th century on a guided tour of the reconstructed French fortified town, discovering the people, stories and daily life that shaped this important chapter of Canadian history.
After your visit, continue to Halifax and check into your downtown hotel for your final night in Atlantic Canada.

Day 8 • Farewell to Atlantic Canada

Where does the tour begin and end?
Your journey begins and ends in Halifax, Nova Scotia. On Day 1, you’ll be met at Halifax Stanfield International Airport and transferred to your hotel. On Day 8, your transfer back to the airport is included.
Are airport transfers included?
Yes. Round-trip Halifax airport transfers are included as part of the tour. Your transportation is provided from your arrival in Halifax on Day 1 through your return to Halifax Stanfield International Airport on Day 8.
What hotels will we stay at?
Planned accommodations include the Delta Halifax, Rodd Charlottetown and Inverary Resort in Baddeck, or equivalent hotels of a comparable standard. The tour includes seven nights of accommodation, and final hotel details will be provided before departure.
What meals are included?
The tour includes 11 meals: 7 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 3 dinners, including a memorable Prince Edward Island lobster supper. A Welcome Drink and Meet & Greet is also included on your arrival day.
How active is this tour?
This tour is designed for active, independent travellers comfortable with a full sightseeing itinerary. Expect regular walking, standing during guided visits, getting on and off the motorcoach, stairs and some uneven terrain at historic and outdoor attractions. The tour is not designed for travellers who require mobility aids or personal assistance.
Is airfare included?
No. Airfare to and from Halifax is not included, giving you the flexibility to choose the airline, schedule and departure city that work best for you. Once you arrive in Halifax, your included tour transportation begins.
What sightseeing and attractions are included?
Sightseeing and admission fees for the experiences specified in the itinerary are included. Highlights include Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg, Green Gables Heritage Place, PEI National Park, the Cabot Trail, Cape Breton Highlands National Park, the Fortress of Louisbourg, the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic, Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site and a Bras d’Or Lake boat tour, along with the Northumberland Ferry crossing and other touring described in the itinerary.
How much is required to reserve my spot?
A $500 CAD deposit per person is required to reserve your spot. The deposit is applied toward the total cost of your tour.
Are gratuities included?
Gratuities for your Tour Director and Driver are not included and are at your discretion. As a general industry guideline, approximately $8–$10 per person, per day for the Tour Director and a similar amount for the Driver may be considered for excellent service.
What is not included in the tour price?
Airfare to and from Halifax, travel insurance, meals not specified in the itinerary, optional sightseeing or activities, personal expenses, gratuities for your Tour Director and Driver, and 13% HST are not included.
