    A non-refundable deposit per person is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due 45 days before departure. Please review the cancellation terms and consider travel insurance before booking.

    Travel insurance is not included. We strongly recommend purchasing coverage for trip cancellation, delays, and medical emergencies.


    Is This Tour Right for You?

    Our tours are designed for independent, active travellers. Guests should be able to walk comfortably for 20–30 minutes at a time.

    Not suitable for wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, or guests requiring continuous assistance.


    What to Pack

    Please bring:

    Luggage

    We recommend one checked suitcase and one personal item per guest. Please label your suitcase with your name, phone number, and tour name.

    A colourful ribbon or luggage tag is helpful for easy identification.

    Seats are assigned before departure.

    You are welcome to bring snacks, drinks, books, headphones, and a travel pillow.


    Daily Schedule

    Your Tour Manager will review the next day’s schedule each evening, including departure times, meeting points, and special instructions.

    Optional activities, meals, or schedule updates will be clearly communicated in advance.

Lunches are not included, giving you the freedom to select from the menu and order according to your preferences. Carefully chosen lunch stops are part of the experience, with memorable settings such as The Butchart Gardens and Callisto at Bear Mountain, where expansive views make the meal every bit as special as the destination.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 • Toronto to Victoria — Welcome to the Island

    Make your way from Toronto to Victoria and begin your Vancouver Island escape.

    Upon arrival at Victoria International Airport, meet your CosmoVista Tour Director and travel by private group transfer to the centrally located Embassy Inn.


    After checking in, settle into your room and enjoy the evening at leisure. Take your first stroll along Victoria’s beautiful Inner Harbour, explore the nearby waterfront paths or choose from the many downtown restaurants just steps from the hotel.

    Airfare is not included. Recommended flight details and the scheduled airport-transfer time will be provided before departure.

  • Day 2 • Victoria: Harbour, Heritage & Coastal Beauty

    7:00 AM | Breakfast at the hotel

    Begin your morning with a leisurely included breakfast at the Embassy Inn.

    9:00 AM | Guided Victoria Excursion

    Meet your local guide for a three-hour introduction to British Columbia’s elegant capital.

    Travel through historic James Bay and beautiful Beacon Hill Park before following Dallas Road along the Pacific waterfront. Weather permitting, pause for sweeping views across the Strait of Juan de Fuca toward the Olympic Mountains.

    Continue through Victoria’s attractive residential neighbourhoods to explore the gardens and grounds of Government House. Then return downtown to discover Canada’s oldest Chinatown, colourful Fan Tan Alley and the fascinating stories behind this historic district.

    Conclude your guided excursion near Victoria’s Inner Harbour, with views of the Parliament Buildings and the city’s celebrated harbourfront.

    12:00 PM | Afternoon at Leisure

    The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Have lunch at one of the waterfront restaurants, visit the Royal BC Museum, browse the shops along Government Street, experience afternoon tea or simply relax at the hotel.

  • Day 3 • Butchart Gardens & Cider on the Peninsula

    9:00 AM | Depart for Butchart Gardens

    Travel to the world-renowned Butchart Gardens, one of Vancouver Island’s most celebrated attractions.

    9:30–11:30 AM | Explore Butchart Gardens

    Enjoy two hours to discover the Gardens at your own pace. Wander through the dramatic Sunken Garden, peaceful Japanese Garden, elegant Italian Garden and colourful seasonal displays.

    11:30 AM–12:30 PM | Lunch at Butchart Gardens

    Enjoy lunch at your leisure in the Gardens’ beautiful pavilion setting.

    Lunch is at your own expense.

    12:30 PM | Depart for Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse

    Travel through the scenic Saanich Peninsula to this locally owned farm-based cidery.

    Approximately 12:45–2:15 PM | Sea Cider Experience

    Relax amid the orchard and enjoy panoramic views across the Haro Strait toward James Island. Discover the flavours of Vancouver Island through a locally produced cider-tasting experience, with time to explore the farm and cidery surroundings.

    A non-alcoholic alternative will be available for guests who prefer not to participate in the cider tasting.

    Approximately 3:00 PM | Return to the Embassy Inn

    The remainder of the afternoon and evening is yours to enjoy at leisure.

  • Day 4 • Lighthouse, Mountain Views & the Malahat SkyWalk

    7:00 AM | Breakfast at the hotel

    Begin the day with an included breakfast at the Embassy Inn.


    8:30 AM | Depart the Embassy Inn


    9:00–9:40 AM | Esquimalt Lagoon

    Begin the day along the beautiful Colwood waterfront at Esquimalt Lagoon. This peaceful coastal sanctuary is framed by the calm waters of the lagoon on one side and the Strait of Juan de Fuca on the other.


    Enjoy time for a gentle waterfront stroll, watch for local birdlife and admire the driftwood-covered shoreline. Weather permitting, the stop also offers views toward the Olympic Mountains and Fisgard Lighthouse in the distance.


    9:40 AM | Depart for Fort Rodd Hill


    10:00–11:30 AM | Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse

    Explore one of Vancouver Island’s most scenic historic sites, overlooking the entrance to Esquimalt Harbour. Walk through the coastal grounds of Fort Rodd Hill, discover its former military fortifications and enjoy beautiful views across the Strait of Juan de Fuca.


    Continue to Fisgard Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse on Canada’s west coast. Set against a dramatic shoreline, the red-and-white lighthouse is one of the region’s most recognizable landmarks and a wonderful place for photographs.


    The visit allows time to explore at a comfortable pace. Access to individual historic buildings is subject to seasonal operating schedules.


    11:30 AM | Depart for Bear Mountain


    12:00–1:15 PM | Lunch at Callisto

    Enjoy a relaxed lunch at Callisto, located within The Westin Bear Mountain Resort & Spa. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Vancouver Island, the restaurant’s elevated setting and expansive views make the meal an experience in itself. Choose from the menu and dine at your leisure before continuing to the afternoon’s scenic adventure.

    1:15 PM | Depart for Malahat SkyWalk


    1:45–3:30 PM | Malahat SkyWalk — Admission Included

    Experience Vancouver Island from an entirely new perspective at Malahat SkyWalk. Begin with a gentle elevated TreeWalk through the coastal forest before following the accessible spiral pathway to the top of the tower.


    From the summit, take in sweeping views over Saanich Inlet, the Gulf Islands and the surrounding mountains. Those looking for an extra thrill may step onto the SkyWeb or experience the glass-enclosed Overhang, while others can simply relax and enjoy the scenery. Adventurous guests may even take the spiral slide back down.


    3:30 PM | Depart for Victoria


    Approximately 4:15 PM | Return to the Embassy Inn

    The remainder of the day is yours to relax, prepare for the journey home or enjoy a final evening in Victoria.

  • Day 5 • Farewell Victoria — Return to Toronto

    Enjoy a final included breakfast at the Embassy Inn before checking out. Transfer to Victoria International Airport for your return flight to Toronto, taking home wonderful memories of gardens, castles and the Pacific coast.
